- European Researchers' Night 2021 - Science for All
At the University of Primorska, on Friday, 24 September 2021, we organized the European Researchers' Night, which took place at several locations and through online workshops from 8 am to 6 pm. We named the project "Research for All - 'FOR YOU'" because we believe that anyone can become a researcher if they want to. The project aims to present the profession of a researcher and the work he performs and to show how important this is for the development of society. We have shown this by presenting interestingly the research we carry out at our university and the specific knowledge and skills that our researchers have. Visitors saw all this through various workshops, guided tours, quizzes, exhibitions, science shows, practical activities and demonstrations, and the implementation of movement exercises. The performers were researchers and many students of the University of Primorska. The project was implemented in cooperation with the University of Maribor and the University of Nova Gorica and is funded by the European Commission, the actions of Marie Sk艂odowska-Curie.
The European Researchers' Night, ZATE, took place at the following locations: in Koper in the courtyard of the University Rectorate and the Praetorian Palace, in the UP building of the Faculty of Humanities and the UP Faculty of Mathematics, Science and Information Technology, in Izola at the UP Faculty of Health Sciences, in the Simon's Bay Archaeological Park and the municipality of Hrpelje-Kozina in the Rodik Myth Park.
Due to PCT conditions, there were fewer visitors this year than in previous years, but those who attended the activities we organized at our universities as part of the project enjoyed what our researchers and students showed them.
Footage of the workshops conducted via the online zoom platform can be viewed on the project website on the
