In the private and public sectors, the focus is on interdisciplinary and sustainable management. Emphasis is placed on agility as well as a socio-sociological and technological phenomenon, which encompasses lifelong learning, continuous training, conflict resolution, teamwork and identification of people in terms of equal opportunities. In addition, management research includes innovative business models, organization, strategic considerations, business measurement systems, and a project and process approach. Research has the characteristics of basic, targeted and applied research, as well as practically useful results for private (commercial companies) and public (education, healthcare) organizations. Also, management research focuses on current challenges such as education, inclusion, and employment of young people, as well as on compliance with national and EU policies.
